Black Raspberries

I went over to Mom's to pick black raspberries and Mimi (the one goat) went with me, but she couldn't figure out why I was picking those little black things out of the weeds.
She is so funny when she is outside, she is such a Miss Priss, at least compared to my other goats. I'm glad she has finally decided that she can eat a little bit of grass, but please don't even think she is about to eat that "junk those Goats eat"! I swear I almost saw her shudder when she saw the wether eating burdocks and nettles the one day... she is just too funny.



Look at all the berries that aren't even ripe yet.





And the ones that I picked are just waiting to be made into something yummy.

Some of Mom's Animals

While at Mom's last evening I took a few pictures of some of her animals.

Here it is!!!!

This is my new camera, the "upgraded one". They were not able to fix my old one so they replaced it with this one.... for less then I would have had to pay to get the other one fixed (if they were able to get the parts).
It is SO much better then the one that couldn't be fixed.
I spent the evening taking pictures over at Mom's, which I'll post tomorrow.

Hopefully Soon

I should here back from the repair shop where I took my camera to get it fixed. I took it in last Wednesday while in Olean. They said they would call in about a week to tell me what needs to be fixed and give me an estimate.

I hope that it can be fixed for a reasonable price because I so miss taking pictures.

Sad News

I lost my baby Sabrina last night. I noticed the night before that she was not feeling good and she had not eaten from her mother all day, but she was still drinking water and eating grain, so I didn't think a whole lot about it. Last night was another story.. I knew she was in trouble when I got home from work and she was laying in the corner of her pen and she wouldn't eat are drink. I tried everything I knew to do, but with no vets in the area open at that time there wasn't a lot I could do. She died during the night, she was 2 weeks and 2 days old. On a brighter note, her twin sister ShyAnn is doing great.
